Oaks
North - The 55+ Community is built around
the Oaks North Golf Course. Many homes have spectacular views.
The homes initially were built in the late 60’s with
newer neighborhoods being added through the 1990’s.
Some of the neighborhoods are gated communities. The neighborhood
areas in Oaks North are known as Mirador, Chapalla, Marbella,
Oaks North Estates, Oaks North Village, One Oaks North, Haciendas
and Oaks North Villas. The Club servicing Oaks North is the
Oaks North Community Center.

North Community Center - The Oaks North Community
Center is located at 12578 Oaks North Drive in beautiful Rancho
Bernardo. The Center is part of a planned development for
individuals 55 years of age or older. The Center has facilities
for woodworking, ceramics and art which are conveniently adjacent
to the spacious patio, swimming pool and spa. Oaks North Center
also features an auditorium with stage, meeting rooms, library,
card room, exercise room, billiard room, sauna, lawn bowling
and tennis.

Seven
Oaks - The 55+ Senior Community was the original
Senior 55+ neighborhood of Rancho Bernardo built in the 1960’s
and early 1970’s. Seven Oaks consists of single story
attached townhomes and single story detached homes. Many are
landscaped with seniors in mind being low maintenance with
gravel accent. Seven Oaks, designed as a walking community,
is centrally located being close to the club and the local
shopping centers. The Club servicing Seven Oaks is the Seven
Oaks Community Center.

Oaks Community Center - Seven Oaks Community
Center is located at 16789 Bernardo Oaks Drive in Rancho Bernardo.
7 Oaks is a planned development for seniors age 55 plus. Activities
at the center include ceramics, bunco, book discussion groups,
croquet, bridge, crafts, exercise classes, and more.

Joslyn
Senior Center hosts weekly activities and programs,
seminars, classes, social activities, trips and travel opportunities
among other events. The Joslyn Senior Center is located at
18402 West Bernardo Drive adjacent to the Rancho Bernardo

is an all volunteer organization providing services and resources
to seniors including free legal advise, insurance consultation,
flu shots, financial planning, blood pressure checks and much

Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol
(RSVP) is a community safety and security
organization performing vacation housing checks. They will
also visit shut ins through the “You are Not Alone Program”
(YANA). In addition, RSVP patrols banks and elementary schools
keeping the streets of Rancho Bernardo safe.
Seniors
Helping Our Kids (SHOK)
is a senior volunteer program helping local kids in the public

Direct
Access to Regional Transit (DART) is a community
shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off at
any location within the DART service area. Priority service
is given to passengers transferring to and from bus routes.
DART cash fare for Seniors, disabled, children under 5 years
is $1.50. If you're paying by Monthly Pass, Day Pass, Senior/Disabled
pass or Youth pass, there is a 50 cent upgrade required. Reserve
a trip on DART by calling (877) 841-DART at least two hours
in advance of the time you would like to travel.
