Celebrate Autumn’s Arrival at the San Marcos Harvest Fest at North City on Oct. 13

Looking for a fun fall event to go to? The San Marcos Harvest Fest is set to bring the spirit of the season to North City on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hosted by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, the neighborhood streets will be closed for the all-day event that will celebrate the sights and sounds of the season and feature delicious bites, locally crafted beer and wine, entertainment, and more than 250 craft vendors!
Attendees can enjoy a variety of street food, indulge in award-winning ice cream and other treats, and find family-friendly dining options along the North City streets and plazas. Live performances will take place across four stages and spotlight an assortment of local live music and attractions.
Hungry and thirsty? Attendees can sip on local beer from Tarantula Hill Brewing Co., Dos Desperados Brewery, Weir Beer, and Dogleg Brewing Co., along with wine from Sunshine Mountain Winery and J Brix Wines, which just soft-opened a tasting room at North City.
Families can explore the Little Shepherd Nature Lab’s ROVER, a bright orange and yellow bus offering hands-on educational fun, including a composting station and mini greenhouse, with nature crafts, face painting, and bunnies. Additionally, guests can take on Cal State University San Marcos Basketball Players in a fun 1-1 challenge!
Admission is free and complimentary parking will be available at North City and CSUSM.
