Dance under the stars for a cause at Junior League of San Diego’s spring fundraiser

Are you in the mood to dress to the nines? Bring out your ball gowns and tuxedos.

The Junior League of San Diego is hosting an annual spring fundraiser, set at the legendary Bali Hai. “Party for a Purpose: Dancing in the Moonlight” with all proceeds benefiting JLSD’s efforts to combat food insecurity.

On Saturday, May 10, guests may enjoy the iconic Polynesian-themed Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island. The event will feature live music, dinner, signature cocktails, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and dancing.

“We are thrilled to welcome another wonderful spring event with our league members and the community,” said Taylor Chipp, Junior League of San Diego’s Spring Signature Event Chair. “This year, we’re excited to elevate the experience, giving our supporters a special night to remember—dancing under the stars, enjoying great food and music, and taking part in exciting fundraising opportunities and entertainment. It’s going to be an unforgettable evening!”

The Junior League of San Diego is an organization of women dedicated to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

Since 1929, members have worked tirelessly to improve the community through mission-driven projects and hands-on involvement with numerous partners. The organization’s current focus is on making a positive impact on those experiencing food insecurity in San Diego.

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bali Hai Restaurant. General Admission tickets are $100 and include dinner and a “Starlight Spritz,” while VIP tickets for $150 offer a luxury catamaran cruise, dinner, a drink, and a gift bag. To purchase tickets, click here.
