Donna Rowe is a fashion model whose runway presence has taken her across the globe.

Originally from the Philippines, Rowe started modeling at 18, entering the industry with a competitive edge. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, she towered over many of her peers, giving her a natural advantage on the runway.

She has since made her mark at Los Angeles Fashion Week, working with esteemed designers including Dior, Swiss Designer Rebel & Freak, House of Rose, Sterling Williams, and Shekhar Rahate Couture. Closer to home, San Diego audiences may recognize Rowe from the Kenneth Barlis fashion show at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier.

Looking ahead, Rowe plans to work at Asian Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week. She has been invited to Paris Fashion Week, but a fall wedding may keep her here. This November, she has been invited to participate in the Mrs. Asia USA Beauty Pageant. This honor emphasizes her growing presence in the fashion and pageant worlds.

Beyond modeling, Rowe is also a designer, content creator, and stylist. During our interview, she invited me into her closet and shared several of her designs. One of them was a dress she would wear for her upcoming engagement party. She also shared a dress she will be wearing to a tea at the Westgate Hotel.

More recently, she attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival wearing a breathtaking gown and cape adorned with sequins that change color on the dress. Looking at them, they were lavender in one direction, and but stroked in another direction, the sequins turned blue. Nearby on the mannequin was the latest work in progress, a stunning tangerine gown for an upcoming event.

An avid traveler, Rowe has visited 50 different countries, drawing inspiration from all the different cultures. She is also a devoted tea enthusiast, collecting teas and teacups, including a commemorative piece from Buckingham Palace honoring Queen Elizabeth.

Her favorite brews? Soothing Caramel Bedtime Tea and Angelina from the gift shop at the Palace of Versailles in Paris.

With an international resume and a creative vision that continues to grow, Rowe (aka Ms. Donnatela) is one to watch. Stay tuned to see which fashion shows she will grace in the coming year.
